Newly developed and released by notorious 11-bit studios, The Alters is an upcoming sci-fi survival video game featuring some very high quality graphics. To make it even better, the animations and environments look fantastic. This incredible work of art will be available for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on June 13, 2025.
Players take on the role of Jan Dolski, who has crashed on an inhabitable planet devastated by the sun's lethal radiation. Players are offered a third-person perspective for their characters and these players must be performing certain tasks such as mining and exploring, etc in order to survive on this planet.

The player takes on the role of Jan Dolski, a man who had to make emergency landing because his ship got hit by an asteroid and crashes on a hostile planet. Because of the deadly radiation from the sun, nothing can live on this planet, and Jan encounters a bizarre structure which seems to be some sort of ultra-sophisticated vehicle—an enormous wheel that has been stranded there. The player, Jan Dolski, propels this base across the surface of the planet so as to escape a deadly sunshine radiation. This base doubles as a home, an exo-planet resource extraction center, and a battle-ground central for securing resources and building infrastructure. Jan soon figures out he will need some help to survive the deadly planet, so using Rapidium substances (an ancient and powerful mineral buried deep in the planet) and a quantum computer he create several of himself called “The Alters”. These Alters make it possible for him to survive on the planet and leave it.
Jan then creates a community of Alters and begins his bid for exodus from the planet. He visits various parts of the world, mines rapidium and other materials, creates his Alters, expands his base, as well as different platforms in different locations for mining or communication work.

The players plays in third-person from the perspective of the gamers with camera "floating" behind and looking over the gamer's shoulder). In addition, this dynamic camera can be directly controlled by the player's mouse as with most third-person shooters. The environmental design in this game is very pretty and it's a good one to put players' brain into the loop where impossibilities are practial,and think about 3d artists' crazy ability. The graphics are terrific, and the detail to illustration of dirty grounds, mountains with lava flowing through their bellies takes ones breath away. … vast plains covered with dust, stony paths give a realistic view of things you explore in dark sky at night.
The mechanics are quite fascinating with plenty of events over each other such as producing Alters, discovering the harsh and desolate maps of this planet, settling disputes between the Alters and mining in various places across the map all whilst trekking through rough and challenging terrains – there building A LOT different platforms for docking, extending your base as well in general just doing all so under pressure to return to before sunrise which acts as a great suspense feature!
