Shadow Labyrinth: Pacman in the parallel verse
Shadow Labyrinth Shadow Labyrinth is an upcoming 2D-action platformer developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Curiously enough, that’s a game from the industry legend retro arcade franchise, Pac-Man. This game is a total rebirth of the basic blue print of Pac-Man.
The hero is a sword fighter with a ghostly Pac-Man following closely behind. This image is affectionately dubbed "Puck". But soon, Puck is little more than an air-borne tag-a-long as the swordsman embarks on a thrilling quest to break out of his terrifying dungeon.
The game was first publicized with the Secret Level level "Circle," that is an official prequel to this particular game. Shadow Labyrinth is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam on July 18, 2025.

Story and Setting
Shadow Labyrinth are based in a nightmarish hostile maze on some unknown planet, among the debris of a war. This game was created within a maze by developers, for the mazy traditional feel of the Pac-Man Family. The environment is hostile, and plenty of foes and disasters lie in wait as you journey through the labyrinth.
On a distant future an unknown planet, Puck wakes the Swordsman No. 8 (Player character & protagonist) from his apparent coma and sees pictures of yet another world/era as he sleeps on with Puck being unable to wake him up while the second planet is in great conflict, that no one could know what happen; yellow orb that calls itself pucks calls player to stop or fight against it during their ancient war. The Swordsman is a fish out of water, as the entire planet he’s on is at war with his people and no one believes he is who he says through multiple layers. Within the confusion and chaos, he is like a prey locked in the maze of these overwhelming disasters and creatures.
Amongst this atmosphere of unease, the Swordsman No. 8 makes a friend in none other than the person that woke him up, Puck. Puck goads him on, and they embark on a daring escape that leads them out of a labyrinth of ice and sacrifice, changing themselves - and the world - forever. On the way they encounter many attackers who are no match for the swordsman's remarkable abilities. But over time as they progress and advance, the Swordsman's abilities just aren't cutting it when it comes fighting stronger and stiffer opponents.
Just when you think things can’t get any worse for him, his one and only friend Puck comes through. By merging himself with Puck, Puck grants him unreal powers. Puck's incredible power and Swordsman's superior technique will lead to them defeating stronger enemies throughout the maze, and ultimately find a way out.
Puck also grants the Swordsman the ability to eat his defeated foes to get stronger and stronger for future battles. The Swordsman, once a predator, he became an apex predator. Do they make it out of the maze? You are the one that sets this with your skills.

Gameplay
and Mechanics
Shadow Labyrinth is 2-D game that takes the perspective of a third person to the player. The players take control of a swordsman named "Swordsman #8" and escort him as he navigates the deadly maze assisted by an orb named "Puck". The player discovers so many new locations andor confrontations as they slowly progress through the maze.
The fighting style is awesome, and the swordwork too (as far it can be made out). The players are also given somewhat unrealistic powers when Puck combines with the Swordsman. After triumphing over the foes, Puck grants him the powers to consume them by becoming one with the Swordsman yet again. This is what makes him so strong and allays all his stress, fatigue.
Graphics are cute, merging, attacking powerups everything as been created and created in a way it fits the event and game theme. Players encounter a number of monsters they have to fight off in order to continue the journey and get out of the maze. That way, the players are always a bit in the dark about what’s coming next.
Additionally, the Swordsman can transform into a Puck in order to gain additional powers and capabilities in order to fight his enemies, encounter new difficult challenges more easily then otherwise he could ……and sometimes break through some obstacles. This mod adds things to the game that defy human body, such as the swordsman can do stuff what not real human could do.
The game becomes harder and harder however into the destination the Swordsman advances, as more skillfull enemies are to be encountered, tougher enviroments to overcome and harder obstacles to jump over. This keeps players in the game and committed to getting out of the scary labyrinth as quickly as they can.
