Killing Floor 3 – Unrelenting Horde Horror Returns

Killing Floor 3 is an upcoming survival horror video game of the Killing Floor franchise, developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. A successor to Killing Floor 2 (2016), the game is scheduled for release on July 24, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
Killing Floor 3 is a FPS survival game that combines elements of horror and the zombie apocalypse genre. The game is extremely violent, featuring blood splatter and bizarre, bioengineered creatures known as "Zeds". The game is developed using Unreal Engine 5, which is known for its ultra-realistic graphics, also evident in Killing Floor 3. This game can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Story and Setting
Story and Setting
The events of Killing Floor 3 unfold in the year 2091, in which the world has turned into a terrifying, nightmarish place. In this hostile future, the megacorp known as Horzine, which is known for producing calamities in the Killing Floor universe, comes up with the production of bio-engineered, zombie-like creatures known as "Zeds".
Horzine Biotech is a British scientific research and inventing laboratory that is responsible for the outbreak of the Zeds. Horzine's CEO, Kevin Clamely, led a covert British government project to develop "super soldiers." At some point, Dr. Clamely diverted this research to clone his deceased son, inadvertently creating the first Clot. Unable to resurrect his son, he then sought to transform his new creations into the super soldiers he was tasked with developing.
New variants of these creatures emerged from Horzine's underground London facility, with research subsequently extending to other sites across Western Europe. Notably, the Stalker was developed at a secret biological camouflage facility in the Wyre Forest, near Wales. While the female Stalker specimens' DNA origin is unknown, it's speculated that they might be based on Kevin Clamely's daughter, Rachel.
The involvement of Nazi scientist Hans Volter remains a mystery. However, the advanced laboratory at Volter Manor and its research suggests a long-standing, potentially decades-long, connection between Volter and Horzine. The Zed specimens were stored in the Horzine factory, where they were thought to be safe and secure. But on one unfateful day, these hostile Zeds broke free and started terrorizing the world. This development to "clone a deceased son" and "create a super soldier" led to a calamity that terrorized all of humanity and needed to be neutralized.
As Horzine was a government-funded corporation, the government refused to take any action against them. Under these circumstances, one rebellious group, "Nightfall", decided to go against the government and to fight and neutralize the Horzine corporation.
