Helldivers 2 Announces Halo ODST Legendary Warbond Release

This crossover includes an extensive variety of weapon, armor, and cosmetic items based on Halo 3: ODST.

A Packed Warbond

Unlike a garden variety warbond this Legendary comes with all kinds of exclusive goodies. It is available for 1,500 Super Credits with the following:

• Four weapons:
  • MA5C Assault Rifle – the legendary Halo weapon, complete with Covenant ammo counter and a compass build for missions.
  • Shotgun – mounted with a flashlight for if the enemy gets up close.
  • M6C SOCOM Pistol – equipped with suppressor, laser sight and flashlight; the first suppressed sidearm in Helldivers 2.
  • M7S SMG – This suppressed, caseless submachine gun is perfect for the stealthy little devils out there.
• Two armor sets:
  • A9 Helljumper Armor – Based on the ODST’s most highly skilled warriors.
  • A35 Recon Armor – A more modest set for the tactical characters.
• New armor passive: Feet First
  • Reduces movement noise.
  • Increases range to detect points of interest by 30%.
  • Grants immunity to leg injuries.
• Cosmetics and extras:
  • Two new capes: Honored Heirloom and Eye of the Claddenstein.
  • Banner items from player ranks and an achievement.
  • A “mean green” vehicle texture for the Hellpod, shuttle, exosuit and FRV.

A Step Up in Price

At 1,500 Super Credits this is more expensive than most previous warbonds priced at 1,000. Arrowhead calls it the first of a new “Legendary” tier, crafted to be considerably meatier. The approaching Premium Warbond Token being released on the same day will not encompass this crossover, so players will be required to have Super Credits in hand.

Community Excitement

The crossover is described as one of the most exciting features of Helldivers 2. Fans were guessing that it would have a leaner offering with two weapons and two armor sets, but it seems Arrowhead has gone the distance instead.

“This is a pure win-win situation for Helldivers and Halo fans,” said one content creator. “It’s easily the best Halo-related release we’ve seen in years.”

Release Details

The Halo ODST Legendary Warbond is active from 1 p.m. BST on August 26, 2025, the day after log-in reward completion for the Xbox launch of Helldivers 2.
