Arrowhead Studios has officially revealed the long-awaited Halo ODST Legendary Warbond for Helldivers 2, arriving on August 26, 2025, to coincide with the game’s launch on Xbox. The crossover brings a massive arsenal of weapons, armor, and cosmetics inspired by Halo 3: ODST.

A Packed Warbond

Unlike standard warbonds, this Legendary edition is loaded with exclusive gear. Priced at 1,500 Super Credits, it includes:

  • Four weapons:
    • MA5C Assault Rifle – the iconic Halo AR, featuring a Covenant ammo counter and built-in compass.
    • Shotgun – fitted with a flashlight for close-quarters encounters.
    • M6C SOCOM Pistol – comes with a suppressor, laser sight, and flashlight, marking the first suppressed sidearm in Helldivers 2.
    • M7S SMG – a suppressed, caseless-ammo weapon ideal for stealth gameplay.
  • Two armor sets:
    • A9 Helljumper Armor – modeled after the ODST’s legendary soldiers.
    • A35 Recon Armor – a lighter set designed for tactical players.
  • New armor passive: Feet First
    • Reduces movement noise.
    • Extends range when detecting points of interest by 30%.
    • Grants immunity to leg injuries.
  • Cosmetics and extras:
    • Two new capes: Honored Heirloom and Eye of the Claddenstein.
    • Player banners and a new title.
    • A “mean green” vehicle pattern for the Hellpod, shuttle, exosuit, and FRV.

A Step Up in Price

At 1,500 Super Credits, this is more expensive than previous warbonds, which typically cost 1,000. Arrowhead describes it as the first of a new “Legendary” tier, designed to pack in significantly more content. However, the upcoming Premium Warbond Token launching the same day will not apply to this crossover, so players will need Super Credits directly.

Community Excitement

The crossover is being hailed as one of the most ambitious additions to Helldivers 2. Fans had speculated it might only include two weapons and two armor sets, but Arrowhead has delivered a much larger package.

“This is nothing but a win for both Helldivers and Halo fans,” one content creator noted. “It’s probably the best Halo-related release in years.”

Release Details

The Halo ODST Legendary Warbond goes live on August 26, 2025, at 1 p.m. BST, just after the Xbox launch of Helldivers 2.
