Dying Light: The Beast Review | Is it worth it?
Dying light: The Beast is an action adventure Open- world game with a mix of survival horror in it and you play as "Kyle Crane" who has been used as a test subject-"Baron" tests on you for years, until now. You wanted revenge.” The trauma is boiling up inside you and it makes you want to take a bloody revenge on these people, as the zombie genome-mind is at war with your human psyche – you’re finding it harder adn harder to hold yourself back! Only one catch, that your Beast goes out of control and you are not the Disable person so now You will have to learn to control your beast mode so then can take it where to redeem.
"Another place to explore is Caster Woods, a forest infested with zombies that will keep you on your toes especially at night; and players are going to have to fight for the lives because there are multiple enemy types in there.”

Half Human, Half Beast
You've experimented alot with Baron and become something more then a human, now you have powers.ultra(super?)power! The problem is : You can also be a beast, but you need to control this. Your DNA is a combination of human and beast, as it has been tampered with. You can switch between them are your play style would be different but whatever the time of need changes you can do that.
Dying Light is an intense game with combat mechanics that puts you to its limits when it comes to ripping heads off the body, cracking skulls and dismember your foes in half with your weapons.

Day And Night Cycle
Dying Light: The Beast’s day & night cycle influences the gameplay in differing game play styles during the day and at night, where danger changes once the sun sets. You can scrounge and gather up during the day but it’s ill-advised because night is a long, bloody stretch of time when your choices are few: hide or fight.
You run the rooftops, and the game delivers to you parkour experience at its best. The game is very accessible but as always the player controller should be masker for best experience. You can also off road with cars that are in the city and boost through zombie hordes breaking more skulls.

Zombie Apocalypse
Co-Op Mechanics
The game environments are well crafted to make you feel as if you're there and it makes the zombie apocalypse real. Caster Woods is a place, where you can play with all of the tourist's spots, industrial area, national park, farmland and swamps. These sections are meticulously constructed to offer distinct experiences, challenges and gameplay.
Co-op with up to three other players for that perfectly arranged teamplay experience. Tackle each obstacle and challenge together as one, with collective advancement.

Players Feedback

What Players Are Saying About Dying Light: The Best
The Good
A big thing is how well the game actually runs; a lot of players have been genuinely shocked at this. One comment put it simply:
“Props devs! A game that works day one?! AND WELL!”
To another player the sensation was repeated:
“The game runs stupidly well.”
Performance issues aside, the best compliment I can give is: It feels like a true successor to the first Dying Light, and not Dying Light 2. Someone wrote:
“This is the genuine sequel for Dying Light 1. This is a game that screams ‘we fucked up with Dying Light 2 so let’s go back to what made the first one great’. Welcome back, Kyle Crane. Good night and good luck.”
Loads of fans are delighted that Crane is back as well, and that the game has recreated the feel of original. Another put it this way:
“Omg this just feels like playing DL1 again. WE ARE SO BACK CRANE ENJOYER.”
combat feels better than DL2, parkour is satisfying and generally it’s polished too. One first impression was:
"The combat feels GREAT against Dying Light 2… the parkour feels cool and satisfying as well… so far, it FEELS VERY polished. I like it"
The Mixed and The Bad
Not everyone is impressed. On the contrary, some have felt the game has been a little shallow and with the new “Beast mode,” just not that great. One blunt review said:
“Bland skill tree, ridiculous gimmick (wolf mode… punch things and sometimes ground smash woah).
Some also griped about bugs and performance hiccups:
“Game does not close when you exit… stutters like mad after the tutorial.
Some feel that the world is just dull and not fun to explore. One player, 11 hours in, put it this way:
“The thing that causes me the most trouble is how fucking boring it is. The story is more than a little bland, the world itself is tedious to run around. Cars hardly even feel effective anymore half the time. 11 hours in and I can’t say I enjoyed more than 10 minutes of it.”
Graphics are another sticking point. Even for one person playing on a high-end PC, it apparently didn’t look up to snuff:
“Even running (it) on an RTX 5090… graphics look outdated, lighting and textures are flat, zombie physics are a huge let down.”
The Overall Vibe
For now, the community is divided. Others are just happy to finally be able to play a buttery, polished Dying Light experience that really feels like the sequel to DL1. Others think it's flavorless, overpriced and a step backward from DL2 in terms of visuals and depth.
As one player put it best:
“If you love Kyle Crane’s story, you might find something here… but full price? nah, this feels like a $30 game maybe.”
As of the article’s writing, the game now has around 6000 Reviews on steam and most Review are positive (90%+) and it’s only one day old About "Techland" starting Dying Light, I’d say a good start really as other games released recently have really bad optimization and poor performance, so yeah good job on “Techland” for their continuing development even if once again failed.
