Donkey Kong Bonanza Donkey Kong Bonanza is upcoming platform game developed and published by Nintendo that will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2. Plot Summary: The protagonist of the game is a gorilla called Donkey Kong. He is aided by the singer Pauline, who uses her voice to transform Donkey Kong, remove seals, and shoot explosive projectiles (if a second player controls her).

Donkey Kong brings a golden banana hoard as a present for Pauline, and together they decide to reclaim the Banandium Gems; banana-shaped diamonds that have been stolen by the evil apes. It's the wackiest 3D platform player ever!

And just as Donkey Kong, the planet’s number-one banana fanatic returns to settle down with a few good books, a storm blows in and leaves him mindlessly zonked on several feet of sand.

As his journey commences, DK partners with what he first believes is a rock but turns out to be Pauline, an adorable young singer. In Donkey Kong, the focus is for Donkey Kong to get his bananas back and Pauline’s primary objective in Mario Odyssey is finding her way back up from underground. They discover reaching the planet’s core can fulfill any wish, so this improbable pair descends for a weird subterranean quest.

A tale in a bright and colorful underground world where every last bit of scenery radically changes the deeper you go, revealing incredible caves that seem like they should be on the surface.

Donkey Kong's unstoppable physical ability enables him to plough through any environment, jumping and climbing with ease, without having to take a second glance. But he can do so much more than just move:

Crash, Smash and Bash: You have the freedom to smash anything in your path -crush, destroy and discover everything along the way.

DK Punch: DK has a huge punching power, and can punch or slam enemies into walls, ground or most objects. Replicating continual devastation to spark chain reactions can lead to new and exciting discoveries.

Dive Punch: Dive downwards and smash the ground with a punch based on how hard your terrain is.

Roll: Roll ahead very fast and launch lighter objects high into the air. This may be used in conjunction with punches and jumps for different attacking moves.

Hand Slap: Making any room fill with power to search scattered objects or hidden sonars in use for detection. DK can even kick if his hands are full.

Tear Off: Grab and tear off sections of the environment to overcome obstacles, and enemies with roots can chew on turnips and spit them out as well!

Swing: Pick up and swing a piece to hit. Harder tiers can smash stone and break spiky thorns with ease.

Chunk Jump: double jump with a chunk to launch into the air.

Toss: To throw a piece or to shoot at something. Tossing “boom rocks” or “gold” can have explosive consequences. Softer, jagged chunks of material attcah to surfaces and drift piles.

Turf Surf: Ride up chunks, speed boost, and crash into small enemies to knock them out of your way.

Pauline's sanging also is very important. Her voice strong to guide the way and to take off odd seal left out. You never know what you will find in the underground when using Donkey Kong’s skills to carve your own path.

Various races also dwell within the many layers of the underground domain. Some of them are cryptic and seemingly untroubled at DK’s destructive impulses. Cranky Kong and his pal Rambi are stomping through them, too.

The giant Elders who inhabit the subterranean world are rumored to have ancient "Bonanza powers." Once Pauline masters these powers, her singing has an extra ability: She can make Donkey Kong change shape!

Bonanza shifts don’t last forever, but you can shift again once you collect gold to fill your “banana energy.” Transformations are not time and place specific, they can be switched between, you have to want them.” Shrayman encourages creative transformation use as you delve towards the core of the planet.

The Void Company

Opposing our heroes is the Void Company, which happens to be the most powerful mining concern on and below both surfaces. This unscrupulous ensemble— made up of the creations of Grumpy Kong (who turns out gigantic corporate soldiers), Poppy Kong (whose role is to gather secrets underground) and Voidcom himself (in charge of the entire company)—is fuelling the banana-pillaging whirlwind on Ingot Isle, and are also making their way down to the planet's nucleus.

Voidcom has closed access to the under-deeps from all other areas. Many enemies will be guarding the routes throughout the islands, so players will need to use all their power to conquer a myriad of powerful foes. Victory over these will cause massive sinkholes to open up, which serves as a path to lower caverns of the world below.

When not adventuring, you can:

• Rest:Find a corner and relax in bed while listening to tunes with the music player. New music discs are discovered from defeated enemies.
• Subterranean Eels: These lifts allow you to quickly travel between any two layers that have already been explored.
• Teleport: You have your easy way back for whenever you get lost in the layer you are currently exploring.

Photo Mode allows you to freely adjust the in-game camera to take stunning photos, so you can unleash your inner photographer!

With local co-op, a second player can join in by sharing a Joy-Con, and help you with steering and might control Pauline independently. In the role of Pauline, unleash powerful blasts of music with the help of Joy-Con™ motion controls and even copy the stunning poses of your teammates to add more power to your performance. When we work together, tough and terrible enemies don't stand a chance.

The game is also Game Share compatible, so one player can quickly send a local or online multiplayer invite to another player on their same Nintendo Switch 2 system using Game Chat.

Assist Mode is on hand for those wanting a guiding swift hand from destiny with the ins and outs of platforming action. It steers you in the right direction, cuts the damage you take in half and more, ensuring that your journey is one where you can be the best Kong you ever wanted to be.

Alongside the main game, there’s a mode called DK Artist where you can use mouse controls to chisel away at stone. You can swivel, paint on things, carve away material and add some back while changing lighting and adding delicious banana effects.

Also, the game is compatible with amiibo. A new Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo figure will also be launched in conjunction with the game; which brings the Street Dancer, Disco Diva look to life. By tapping the Donkey Kong series amiibo, gold Kong tiles that have destructive power will appear. All of the other amiibo figures released up until now can be used and will produce giant spheres.
